Overview
The SLXP LED is an explosion-proof floodlight that’s ideal for service, maintenance and repair tasks of container and structures, where portable lighting is required for worker safety. These applications include grain silo inspection and cleaning, wastewater and sewage related services, paint and powder coating booths, shipbuilding, refineries, marine and industrial maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) and other hazardous locations.
Built for extreme conditions, the SLXP LED features a thick tempered glass lens and durable gasket that prevents ingress of any liquids, vapors or gases. The fixture’s base is designed for temporary deployment, but also comes with mount options for permanent installation on surfaces. A standard 50-foot cord is provided for ease of movement during service, maintenance and inspections. A sturdy hand knob allows for easy aiming and tightens to maintain fixture position.
The 44W LEDs are conformal coated for protection against shock and vibration. The SLXP LED produces up to 3800 lumens, and both flood (45°) and spot (28°) optics are available. It also meets Buy American Act requirements.
